In addition to being a chiropractors, the doctors of East Nashville Chiropractic did extensive studies in Applied Kinesiology, also known as manual muscle testing. The Doctors use muscle testing to determine where you need to be adjusted. They find weak muscles, trace that muscle to the nerve source then make a specific chiropractic adjustment to that nerve area to remove nerve system interference. The adjustments are either made by hand or with a low force instrument. Once the adjustment is made they rechecks the muscles to make sure they are stronger, increasing function in that part of the body.
